| Tree of Life: The Three Spiritual Worlds © 2005 Britt Nesheim The World Tree depicted to the right, is a universal symbol of three spiritual worlds, the OverRealm, the MiddleRealm, and the UnderRealm, a.k.a Otherworld. Symbolized by the stars above the tree, the OverRealm is the home of angels, archangels, star beings, planetary beings, and the Ascended Masters, a.k.a. the Inner Convocation of Light. The OverRealm is closest to the divine creator. The MiddleRealm, symbolized by the body of the tree above the earth, is the home of the keepers of green earth, the nature spirits. Nature spirits include elementals, flower fairies, elves, pixies, brownies, tree spirits, sylphs and devas. It is also the home of geni loci, or guardians of sacred places and animal powers. The UnderRealm depicted as the roots of the tree and life beneath the roots is the home of ancestor spirits, faeires (once gods and goddesses of the Celts who now live underground, not to be confused with flower fairies), mermaids, giants, dragons and the Mother Goddess.
