An Introduction to Communicating with Angels

Because the word angel means messenger in ancient Greek, many people believe that angels are God's
messengers when in fact they are much more. Angels are the beings closest to God responsible for transmiting
the highest energies from the celestial realms to the earth. Hence they are called "messengers." More
specifically, angels give instructions from God to beings beneath them in the spiritual heirarchy like nature spirits
to create life on earth. Before Christianity when shamans and druids were the priests of society, angels were
actually gods and goddesses of the OverRealm, the spiritual world closest to the sky and the stars. Angels
embody powerful forces like music, healing, dance, and death. They also govern human creations like hospitals,
governments, and nations. Finally, there are personal guardian angels interested in the spiritual develoment
and protection of people. You can call upon angels for spiritual guidance, direction, support and healing in all
areas of your life.

Spiritual beings are seen with spiritual eyes. Looking inward with spiritual sight, angels look like humans, male or
female with large white swan wings like the angel in the image above and to the right. They are usually dressed
in goddess gowns. Male angels often appear wearing ancient military clothes similar to that of Roman soldiers.
With eyes open and spiritual sight, angels look like flashes of diamond white light. Archangel Micheal looks like a
cobalt blue light; Archangel Raphael, a green light. Gabriel appears as copper light and Uriel pale shades of
yellow. Angels radiate purity, love and compassion. When we are spiritually connected to the angels, their
presence can be felt as waves of warmth and love, tingling, a touch on the shoulder, celestial music, the smell of
something sweet like flowers, or a whisper in the ear releasing us from tension or fear.

The Archangels

The archangels were the primary engineers and creators of the universe. They created and sent blue prints of
planet earth to the beings of the Middlerealm like the elementals that executed these plans and created the
earth. There are ten primary archangels: Metatron, Raziel, Zaphkiel (aka Shekinah), Zadkiel, Kamael (a.k.a.
Chamuel), Micheal, Uriel, Raphael, Gabriel, and Malkuth (a.k.a. Sandalphon).

Metatron means crown. He is known as the king of the angels and as a scribe, angel of death, responsible for
assisting prematurely deceased children. Metatron feels like a very strong man. He is tall, has dark hair and
wears a dark, black and brown, cloak.

Raziel means wisdom and is the angel of secrets and mysteries. Call upon Raziel to help you understand
esoteric symbols and spiritual truth.

Zaphkiel means knowledge of God and is the archangel of understanding. Zaphkiel is also known as Shekinah,
the female aspect of Metatron, or the divine feminine, from which all life is born.

Zadkiel means righteousness of God is the archangel of benevolence, mercy, and memory. Some scholars
believe that Zadkiel held back Abraham's arm when he was about to sacrifice his son Isaac. Call upon Zadkiel to
help you see others with compassion instead of judgement.

Kamael or Chamuel means he who seeks God or sees God and is the archangel of power. Call upon Chamuel
when you need to be spiritually powerful.

Michael means the one who is like God, or the one made in God's image. Micheal is a guide to all lightworkers,
people called to a spiritual path. Michael has shoulder length dark hair, carries a shield and a sword. He wears a
breastplate made of leather and metal shin guards. He is very handsome with classical facial characteristics and
shining blue eyes. Michael is the guardian of the spiritual gate in the South. Call upon Micheal to release you
from your fears.

Uriel means fire or light of God. Uriel is the archangel of victory. Uriel is the guardian of the spiritual gate in the
North. Call upon Uriel to light up any dark situation and create a spiritual victory in your life.

Raphael means God has healed and is the archangel of majesty. Archangel Raphael is responsible for healing.
Raphael is the guardian of the spiritual gate in the East. Call upon Raphael to heal yourself, others, and the
Mother Earth.

Gabriel means God is my strength and is the spiritual foundation of the inner world. Gabriel is known as the
messenger angel who brought Mary news of Jesus' conception and dictated the Koran to Mohammed. Gabriel is
the guardian of the spiritual gate in the West. Call upon Gabriel to hear spiritual messages more clearly.

Malkuth is the archangel of the spiritual kingdom and is responsible for carrying our prayers to God. He helps to
bring about differentiation of sex embryos and is a guardian to expectant mothers. He was the prophet Elijah.

You Know You Are Working With Angels When...

- You ask for help and you receive more than what you asked for
- You experience synchronicity and coincidences to your benefit
- You unexpectedly meet just the right person, receive just the right resources at the right time
- You feel a touch on the shoulder, chills, waves of love when you are feeling sad or depressed
- You see angel lights
- During a vision journey, in a dream, or in a waking vision you see an angel
- An inner or outer voice speaks to you with a message in it
- You experience chills confirming that what was is on your mind is true
- You unexpectedly experience very strong positive or negative feelings
- You feel butterflies in your stomach
- You feel heat, tingling, pressure around your head or sense a loving presence around you
- You see the number 444 or repeating numbers
- You smell something sweet that reminds you of purity
- You experience bliss
